A woman was killed in a hellish blaze after she smashed her Mercedes-Benz into a Long Island gas station Friday night, authorities said.
The unidentified victim rocketed along Route 109, sideswiping a car and hitting utility poles before striking a pump at an Ultra station, near Golding Avenue, at 11:30 p.m., police said.
Suffolk police are investigating whether the woman’s husband had been chasing her.
