‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ an insult to all Italian-Americans

Now that the revolting Giudices — the sleaziest duo since Anthony Weiner and Eliot Spitzer — have finally been indicted, isn’t it time for the criminally bad “Real Housewives of New Jersey” to end up in the can as well?

Well, actually it’s well beyond the time.

In fact, I will go the feds one better and say that even the producers — actually especially the producers —should have been indicted for hate crimes against Italian-Americans after the show’s first episode.

But money talks, and the country has just loved laughing at this hideous family while pigeon-holing all Italian-Americans along with them into this tiny microcosmic compound of filth and corruption.

So what if an entire group of Americans are tainted with this ugly brush? Viewers insist it’s not stereotyping. Right.

Raise your hand if you think all Armenians are like the horrible Kardashians. Exactly.

The man behind all this nastiness and loathsome programming is “creative genius” Andy Cohen who, along with the other Bravo big shots, have raked in big “RHNJ” bucks for five long, tedious seasons.

Five seasons too long, and it’s time for it to stop.

But it goes on and on. In fact, God knows what will happen when the trial starts. Will we have to endure that as well?

Will Teresa call the judge a “prostitution whooo-ah”? Will she try to turn over the prostitution, ah prosecution table in court?

Not unless they allow cameras in the courtroom she won’t.

All I can hope for now is that the Real Cro-Magnon Wife of New Jersey, and her hideous missing-link-of-a-husband, will finally disappear for good.

And that could happen.

Turns out that gorilla Joe might get deported back to Italy after he does time if he’s convicted.

Back? Who knew he wasn’t an American citizen to begin with? How-in-hell has this ape lived here most of his life, worked here, been jailed here — and yet he still lives here while people with PhDs get thrown out?

Where are the anti-immigration Fox News anchors now when we need them?

It’s not just past the time to throw Joe out of the country — it’s well past the time to throw this show off the air.

Memo to Bravo officials: Just do it already.
