Donald Trump may be an “apprentice” in American civics.
The Donald ducked a question about how many members serve in the House of Representatives in a profile published in Time today.
“Well, I don’t want to answer your questions because this isn’t a history class,” said Trump, who insisted he knew the answer. “You could get some stiff that knows every one of those answers, but is incapable of governing.”
For the record, there are 435 House seats.
Of his presidential hopes, he said:
“NBC wants to renew [“The Apprentice”] for three seasons,” he said. “I’ve told them, ‘I’m sorry. At this moment, I can’t think about that because I have a big decision to make.”
But at another point, he told the interviewer “you have no assurance” about his candidacy.
