Hamburglar strikes in McDonald’s con: cops

She’s the “Big Mac” of con artists.

Career thief Darlise Buggs swiped a woman’s Gucci bag using an elaborate ruse at a Brooklyn McDonald’s, police sources said yesterday.

The 42-year-old crook first carried a tray of coffee cups to the unsuspecting, 54-year-old patron in the fast-food eatery at 700 Broadway in Bushwick at around 10:45 a.m. Saturday, police sources said.

Buggs lied by saying management told her to pass out free java to customers, sources said. She then “accidentally” spilled the contents all over the table.

Apologizing, she allegedly put her coat over the woman’s purse as she cleaned up the mess.

Buggs then allegedly picked up her jacket along with the purse containing about $400, a passport, green card, debit cards and a cellphone.

After Buggs exited, it took the customer a half-hour to realize she’d been robbed, the sources said.

Later that day, a cop spotted Buggs across the street from the McDonald’s and busted her on a charge of grand larceny. Her criminal record includes at least 17 busts.
