Prez fit to be tied in Pa.

WASHINGTON — President Obama is in a dead heat with any Republican challenger in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, where his job-approval rating has hit an all-time low, a new poll reveals.

The numbers are a sobering wake-up call for Team Obama, which hadn’t expected to fight for Pennsylvania after his decisive victory there in 2008.

A majority of Pennsylvania voters — 52 percent — say Obama doesn’t deserve a second term, according to the Quinnipiac University poll released yesterday.

In a mythical match-up, Obama gets 40 percent to an unnamed Republican challenger’s 41 percent in the 2012 presidential contest.
