Wedding krazy

You expected a small, family affair?

Kim Kardashian’s wedding to New Jersey Nets star Kris Humphries is already shaping up to be a Tinseltown version of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding — an extravaganza that will beat the publicity drum for months to come.

Will it be televised? Does an agent forget to take his 15 percent?

“It’s going to be royal wedding No. 2,” Khloe Kardashian, Kim’s younger sister, boasted to E! Online. “I could only imagine Kim having the hugest wedding.”

Let the hype begin!

“Kim’s wedding is going to be bigger than Tom [Cruise] and Katie [Holmes],” a friend of the bride-to-be told gossip site Popeater. “In fact, she wants it to be bigger than William and Kate’s.”

Oh, dear.

No wedding date has been announced yet, but it’s a sure bet that whenever it is, Kardashian clan fans will be invited guests when the reality star marches down the aisle — though they’ll have to watch from home.

Cameras at the wedding “comes with the territory,” Kourtney Kardashian, Kim’s older sister, said yesterday.

“I mean, I would assume it would be [taped],” Khloe said. “We sell our souls to E!”

Because news of the engagement was sprung so unexpectedly, the network is scrambling to figure out how the wedding will factor into the TV lineup. Season 6 of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” debuts June 12.

Network execs are contemplating yet another “Kardashians” spinoff, according to reports. This latest show would focus on what Kim does to get ready for the wedding, with the nuptials as the season finale.

The Kardashian sisters — who have built a reported $65 million empire out of their TV shows and clothing stores — have been down this road before.

Khloe’s September 2009 wedding to Los Angeles Laker Lamar Odom — they got married four weeks after meeting each other — was filmed for a TV special which aired two months later. “Khloe & Lamar,” a series about the young married couple’s first months together, was already airing on TV the following spring.

“This wedding is going to happen very much in the public eye,” a source told Popeater. “And they will make millions off of it.”

Rock gets bashed

The verdict is in on Kim Kardashian’s $2M engagement ring — it’s UGLY!

That is the consensus on Internet message boards in response to pictures of the 20-carat monstrosity that were released yesterday.

“OOF! Vulgar, vulgar, vulgar. What a surprise, an unattractive ring,” commented Willis on USMagazine.com

“Unbelievably tacky. That gaudy piece of junk is what she really wants, not a marriage,” continued Elizabeth Aspen.

But Sandra Wood might have summed it up best with, “It’s a vulgar waste of money.”
