A 14-year-old boy was fatally shot in the head last night outside a Crown Heights bodega, cops said.

Tyrek O’Hara-Morris was shot at 8:30 p.m. at Park Place and Troy Avenue.

The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital where he died.

Cops said they were questioning three people, but no charges had been filed as of early today.

Manhattan

There’s brazen, and then there’s stupid.

Two thieves who robbed a Murray Hill jewelry store got busted two weeks later when they returned to pull off a second heist, authorities said.

Luisa Silverio, 42, and Mildred ju Lugo, 46, allegedly snatched $6,900 worth of baubles from Sterling Stone Jewelry on Fifth Avenue near East 31st Street at noon on May 12.

The caper was caught on camera, and when the suspects waltzed back into the store on May 25, the owner called police, who grabbed the duo.

Queens

An Astoria resident apparently hanged himself from a fire escape, cops said.

The body of Antonio Candela, 49, was discovered dangling from a noose in the rear of his apartment building on 29th Street near 36th Avenue at 8:52 a.m. yesterday.

No foul play is suspected, cops added.

The Bronx

His love truly knows no bounds.

A crook confessed he stole a car in Morrisania to visit his girlfriend, authorities said.

Michael Smith, 17, was allegedly cruising in a stolen Honda Accord on East 169th Street near Washington Avenue at 4:28 a.m. Saturday when cops attempted to pull him over for a broken rear license-plate light.

Smith sped off, driving against traffic and mounting a sidewalk before finally crashing into a parked vehicle, cops said.

He then allegedly ran, but was quickly apprehended.

“I needed a car to go somewhere — my girlfriend’s,” he admitted after being arrested, according to court papers.

Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the girl pictured here who vanished from her Morrisania home.

Jaqueena Jones, 13, was last seen Friday at her residence on Third Avenue near East 170th Street.

She stands 5-foot-2, weighs 105 pounds and was wearing blue jeans, a red sweater and green sneakers at the time of her disappearance.

Staten Island

Cops busted an Elm Park chop-shop operator, authorities said.

Officers found a dismantled 1996 Chrysler minivan with no engine and no vehicle identification number when they searched the American Wrecking lot on Richmond Terrace near Housman Avenue at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, court papers state.

Also on the lot were two Nissan Maxima sedans with various parts missing, said cops, adding that the shop’s logs had no record of the vehicles being serviced.

“I don’t know where the parts are; I can’t remember,” owner Sydney Onyenwena, 48, allegedly told officers when he was arrested.

A father and son were caught smuggling fireworks, authorities said.

James Doran, 51, and his 20-year-old son, also named James, were stopped by the FDNY Fireworks Enforcement Unit at Veterans Road East and Clay Pit Road in Charleston at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday after coming in from New Jersey via the Outerbridge Crossing.

In the duo’s vehicle, fire marshals allegedly found more than $1,200 worth of fireworks purchased in Pennsylvania. The men were charged with unlawful dealing of fireworks.

An ex-con broke into cars in Mariners Harbor looking for money he could squirrel away for his soon-to-be-born son, authorities said.

Cops on patrol spotted Hector Cardona, 23, slamming into a parked car after backing a Ford Taurus down a Simonson Avenue driveway at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, according to court papers.

When officers tried to approach Cardona, he allegedly bolted, but was quickly nabbed.

“I ran because I was driving drunk,” he said, court documents state.

The officers soon discovered that five vehicles on the block had smashed windows, cops said.

Cardona was carrying a bag containing several stolen items, including two GPS units, several gift certificates and a watch, cops added.

“I was trying to make some fast money for my son on the way,” he allegedly confessed.

Cardona — who was on parole after serving two years for attempted robbery — was charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.
