Weinergate just doubled in size.

Not only did married Rep. Anthony Weiner carry out sexually explicit cyber-affairs with women around the country, but the pervy pol compounded his troubles with a coverup that included e-mails to a porn star about how she should lie, it was revealed yesterday.

Three days after misfiring a lewd photo of himself to a pretty Seattle college student, the conniving New York congressman went into full spin mode as he coached porn star Ginger Lee with suggested answers that included “I follow Rep. Weiner on Twitter. I don’t know him and have never met him.”

“And then maybe insert some y’alls in there,” the scheming politician added in the June 1 exchange, which was obtained by TMZ, suggesting the blond-haired, blue-eyed Tennessee girl use a generous dose of Southern charm.

The explosive development came as:

* Weiner declared, “I’m not resigning,” after he spent the day holed up in his district office in Queens and returned with a bag of Citarella food to the Forest Hills home he shares with his wife, Huma Abedin. The two spent Monday night in a Manhattan hotel after dinner with her family.

Asked how he was holding up, the 46-year-old pol, dressed in a dark navy suit, replied, “OK, good. Nothing new today.”

* House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ordered an ethics probe, and a senior Democratic aide told The Post that “the [party] leadership is obviously very furious about the way he handled this. It’s very messy.”

* Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid delivered a blistering rebuff to Weiner, saying, “I wish there was some way I could defend him, but I can’t.” Rep. Betty Sutton (D-Ohio) said she was donating a $1,000 campaign contribution last year from Weiner to a local charity.

* Actor Matt Damon said he was postponing a fund-raiser that he had been scheduled to host for Weiner at Almond restaurant in Manhattan on June 20 “because of all this,” New York magazine reported.

As part of his apparent coverup, a worried Weiner asked Lee in an e-mail: “Do you need to talk to a professional PR type person to give u advice? I can have someone on my team call.”

A spokesman for Weiner last night said, “No one on Anthony’s official staff or anyone affiliated with Anthony in any way had any contact with Ms. Lee.” The stunning revelations about his offer to Lee casts new light on a statement put out by co-ed Gennette Cordova a day after she got the photo of Weiner’s bulge in his briefs.

Reeking of professional damage control, she wrote, “There have never been any inappropriate exchanges between Anthony Weiner and myself, including the tweet/picture in question.”

She also suggested the scandal was just an attempt to “defame the congressman.”

The other women he admitted to sexting during the past three years have yet to admit he coached them.

Las Vegas Bellagio blackjack dealer Lisa Weiss — with whom he shared explicit exchanges for nine months — claims he never contacted her after the scandal broke.

Their raunchy cyberchats included a particularly sleazy one in February in which the 40-year-old woman wrote, “Didn’t think I could love you more until I saw you on Bill Maher tonight,” the Web site RadarOnline reported.

The revved-up rep replied, “Maybe Maher will let me do you on his desk. Since u like me there.”

Weiss — a Democratic diehard whose car bears a bumper sticker reading, “The last time the Republicans cared about my rights, I was a fetus” — later told TMZ, “I figured there were hundreds of girls that would come forward” with stories of sexting with Weiner.

“At first, I didn’t know he was married, and I was very flattered . . . that he was hitting on me,” she said.

But after she found out he had a wife, “I think what he did is wrong,” she said.

“I’m sure his wife is furious . . . [But] I’ve never met him. I’ve never touched him . . . The things I said to him and the things he said to me were just mainly joking.”

Weiss also denied he ever talked dirty to her from his congressional office, saying they spoke one time from there at 1 a.m., and it wasn’t “sexual.”

Another of Weiner’s cybergals, Meagan Broussard, told Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” show that it’s clear Weiner has issues.

When he sent to her a suggestive picture of himself with his cats, calling them “pussies,” she said, “I just thought, OK, that’s weird,” Broussard said.

“But at the time, I was like, wow, that’s kind of out there, daredevil.

“He has to feel wanted some way,” she speculated. “This obviously fulfills him. I don’t know, maybe he’s searching for something.”
