Kin eyed in granny stab

An 82-year-old woman was stabbed in her home and robbed of about $1,000 yesterday in Harlem — and her nephew is the chief suspect, police sources and neighbors said.

Maisy Garris, a beloved neighborhood fixture, suffered wounds to her face and head in her West 139th Street home at about 11 a.m., cops said.

Boatman Garris, who was home at the time, identified the attacker as his wife’s nephew, Larry Brown, a homeless druggie who often did odd jobs for the elderly couple.

“Boatman told me that Larry tied up his wife and stabbed her,” said Troy Gethers, who works for a towing company across the street.

Police sources confirmed the suspect’s ID.

Maisy Garris staggered into the street bloodied and screaming while her husband called 911. She was rushed to Harlem Hospital and was listed in stable condition there last night, according to her son, Martin.

“She may have to stay for a couple of days,” he said grimly.
