There’s nothing like a woman scorned — and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton knows a thing or two about that.
Clinton is said to be furious with how “stupid” Rep. Anthony Weiner acted when he tried to hide that he’d carried on a series of sleazy sexting sessions with at least six women on the Internet over the past three years.
“What makes this all so uncomfortable for Hillary is how this again reminds people — as if they needed reminding — about Bill and the Monica Lewinsky scandal,” a source told the Chicago Sun-Times.
“Yes, it’s very different, but it’s another case of a top politician doing something wrong that involves the subject of sex.”

Weiner is married to Huma Abedin, who works as a top aide to Clinton. Abedin, who once worked as an intern to Hillary, is close with both Bill Clinton and his wife.
Earlier this week, Weiner, 46, called the former president to apologize for his actions. Clinton had presided over Weiner and Abedin’s wedding ceremony last July.
The source said Hillary is mostly upset with how Weiner tried to cover up the allegations for a week before coming clean during a news conference on Monday afternoon.
“What especially infuriates Hillary is how Weiner blatantly lied, and then gave that embarrassing and humiliating press conference when he ’fessed up,” the longtime Clinton supporter told the newspaper.
“She can’t believe he’d just be so stupid about the whole thing.”
After Weiner had accidentally posted a photo of his crotch on his Twitter stream last month, the Democratic lawmaker said his account had been hacked.
Weiner then gave a series of TV interviews last week where he repeated that tale. It wasn’t until Andrew Breitbart, a conservative blogger, posted a series of photos on his website that Weiner decided to come clean.
The source also said that the former first lady “thinks of Huma like another daughter.”
“It just kills Hillary to see her friend and longtime key staff member be so horribly humiliated like that,” the source added.
Clinton and Abedin, who is 10 weeks pregnant, are working as both landed in the United Arab Emirates earlier today to carry out a diplomatic mission.
The newspaper also reported that Bill and Hillary have spoken to Weiner and Abedin about the scandal.
“The talks with [Weiner] were very icy and tough — to say the least,” said another insider close to both Hillary and Abedin.
That source added that “Huma is as strong and resilient as Hillary. … She will get through this and will likely stick with Anthony.”
