One of Weiner’s sext buddies says she was ‘flattered’ to have online romance with him

The cheerleading instructor who admitted to being one of former Rep. Anthony Weiner’s sexting friends said her friendship was “more than just sexual” and that she was “flattered” to have been his online buddy.

“I was flattered,’’ Traci Nobles told NBC’s “Today” show about her relationship with Weiner. “It was more than just sexual. We exchanged music or just talked about life in general.”

Nobles, who never met Weiner in person, also said Weiner’s pregnant wife, Huma Abedin, never came up during their numerous online chats.

“We never really went into personal things as far as that,’’ she said. “There are different reports that…said I mentioned about his wife. I know it’s bad enough, but that’s not my style. I wouldn’t have done that.”

The interview comes a day after Weiner, 46, resigned after Democrats called for him to step down.

Asked if the 35-year-old Athens, Ga. resident had anything to say to Weiner’s wife, Nobles said, “I don’t even like to think about that, really, because at the time I didn’t really think about his wife.”

Nobles said things started heating up between her and Weiner after she “liked” his Facebook fan page and began following him on Twitter.

In October 2010, she found him on a Facebook chat and engaged him in a conversation that lasted several hours — the whole time thinking it couldn’t be the actual congressman.

However, a multiple-hour chat about politics turned sexual by the final hour, although Nobles still did not believe it was Weiner.

The next day, Nobles said Weiner suggested a video chat to prove it was him. The two chatted over Skype that night as the flustered Nobles realized it was really the congressman.

The chats got steamier when Weiner sent X-rated photos of his penis to Nobles via email and numerous sexual text messages in which he often referred to his penis in the third person.

The chats ended on May 20, just days before the scandal erupted when Weiner mistakenly tweeted a photo of his crotch to a Seattle woman and blamed it on hackers.

He eventually ‘fessed up that he’s sent lewd pics to at least six women over the past three years.

“It is what it is,’’ she said. “There’s nothing I could do about it at this point. I don’t regret it. It changed me in some way or made me who I am today, so I don’t really regret anything, adding, “It was mutual. I’m not a victim.’’
