An emaciated dog that was thrown out with the trash in The Bronx is recovering and may soon be put up for adoption.
Animal Care & Control director Julie Bank said a staffer found the pit bull May 26 in a trash bin. She tells WABC/Channel 7 the dog couldn’t walk and could barely raise its head.
