How much for your own ‘Idol’

If you want to hire an “American Idol” champ, it’ll cost ya.

Then again, maybe not as much as you might think.

Degny Booking International, which books celebs for different events, has released its list of fees for its stable of stars.

Included on the list are several “Idol” alums — some who actually won the show, others who finished near the top and even others you probably can’t even remember.

And, if anything, the list — which was included on “Idol” site mjsbigblog.com — is wildly divergent.

It just goes to show that, even if someone wins “Idol,” that doesn’t necessarily guarantee a huge appearance fee.

For instance, at the top of the list, if you wanted to hire Season 4 “Idol” winner Carrie Underwood, you’d have to cough up anywhere from $350,000 to $500,000.

Ditto for Season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson, who commands the same fee as Underwood.

On the other hand, Lee DeWyze, who won Season 9, can be had for anywhere from $15,000 to $25,000 — a relative steal — while Fantasia Barrino, who won Season 3, is more expensive than DeWyze, with a going rate of $50,000 to $75,000.

Apparently, even those “Idol” contestants who might register a “huh?” can make some dough.

If you’re looking to save a bit of money but still want that “Idol” flavor at your party, corporate retreat, etc., how about Season 7 contestant Carly Smithson — who only commands $5,000-$10,000?

Or there’s Blake Lewis, another “Whatever happened to?” “Idol” finalist, who’s on the circuit for $10,000-a-pop.

And even an Oscar win doesn’t guarantee big bucks, relatively speaking.

Jennifer Hudson, who competed on Season 3 of “Idol” — and won an Academy Award for “Dreamgirls” — only commands $100,000 for an appearance.

Now that’s a bargain.
