Giddy Quinn eyeing spring nups

She’s ready to unleash her inner bridezilla.

City Council Speaker Christine Quinn — one of the city’s most prominent gay leaders — went into full wedding-planning mode yesterday, just hours after Gov. Cuomo signed into law a bill legalizing same-sex marriage.

“I didn’t sleep,” Quinn told The Post, speaking from her niece’s college graduation party. “It’s all just starting to settle in.”

Quinn and her partner of 10 years, corporate lawyer Kim Catullo, decided last night to wed next spring, she said.

“We were loath to talk about our plans because we didn’t want to get our hopes up,” Quinn said. “I never said in my own mind, ‘This would absolutely happen.’ But now we can start to plan.”

Last night, the happy couple — who have worn matching rings for nine years — started hashing out details of the big bash.

Quinn, widely considered a top mayoral contender in 2013 even though she has not yet formally announced plans to run, said her first concern is the dress.

“I want to go see every dress I can possibly see,” Quinn said. “I want to see short ones, long ones, ivory and white ones.”
