‘Lady with 700 Cats’

There are cats as far as the eye can see.

Lynea Lattanzio is the only human living on her 12 acres of land in California, along with close to 800 cats and about 15 dogs.

Her cat sanctuary is featured on Nat Geo WILD’s new series “The Lady with 700 Cats,” which is narrated by “Glee’s” Jane Lynch and premieres Saturday night at 10.

The series focuses on Lattanzio’s “The Cat House,” which is one of the only cat sanctuaries of its kind, located in Parlier, Calif., outside of Fresno. She takes in rescues from all over the world. She says she often gets cats flown in from New York from owners who decide their apartments are too small to house their pets.

“If I were a cat, this is where I’d be,” she tells The Post.

“We’re a no-cage, no-kill adoption sanctuary.”

She gets the word out about her sanctuary by her YouTube video and other social networks like Facebook and PetFinder.com, and she expects the series to increase traffic, as well.

Lattanzio’s mother wouldn’t allow her to have a pet cat growing up. “I bet she’s sorry now,” she says. And so she began rescuing cats after her divorce and has since saved close to 19,000 felines.

But don’t call her a crazy cat lady.

“I prefer to say I’m eccentric/ masochistic,” she says. “It’s the same thing, only nicer.”
