Bachmann’s doc note

ST. PAUL, Minn. — A letter from a congressional doctor who has examined Republican Michele Bachmann described the presidential candidate’s migraines as occurring “infrequently” and controlled by prescription medication.

Bachmann’s campaign distributed the letter yesterday from Dr. Brian Monahan, the attending physician in Congress.

The letter, written at Bachmann’s request, is the latest step in her effort to combat reports that her severe headaches have hindered her work in Congress and could pose problems if she were president.
