Cops: 3 dead in upstate home; unclear how they died

PARISH, N.Y. — Authorities investigating the deaths of three people found in an upstate New York house haven’t determined if they were killed or died by accident.

Oswego County Undersheriff Eugene Sullivan says the three people found in the town of Parish each had injuries, but it isn’t clear if they played a role in the deaths.

The bodies have been sent to the Onondaga County medical examiner for autopsy and identification. Police hadn’t released any new information about the deaths by early Sunday evening.

Sullivan says deputies were called just before 11 p.m. Saturday to the home in the rural community 25 miles north of Syracuse.
