George the great Dane is a great big wuss!
The world’s largest canine can often be heard whimpering while playing with smaller dogs at the pooch park, its owner says.
“The smaller dogs run around and under him, and he’ll be constantly sidestepping them, obviously anxious and jittery,” Phoenix developer Dave Nasser told The Daily Mail. “We realize that our enormous puppy is a big softie.”
The Guinness Book of World Records last year officially tabbed the gentle giant — 43 inches from paw to shoulder, and 252 pounds — as the largest dog ever.
Nasser and his wife, Christie, said they go through 100 pounds of dry dog food a month just to feed the beloved big guy.
And there is one place where George is a terror — the kitchen, where he loves to snag snacks off counters and high shelves.
