America’s most hated

Eat your heart out, O.J.

Casey Anthony is officially the most hated person in America, topping the accused — and acquitted — killer and a list of wretched fame-mongers.

Anthony, 25, has been in hiding since last month, but she can’t hide from public opinion.

After beating charges she murdered her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, Anthony became more reviled than “Octomom” Nadya Suleman, socialite Paris Hilton and fallen football star O.J. Simpson, a new poll shows.

The survey, which questioned 1,100 people 13 and older, was released yesterday by E-Poll Market Research.

Fifty-three percent of respondents were aware of Casey Anthony — and 94 percent disliked her, the stats show.

Anthony was also considered “creepy” by 57 percent and “cold” by 60 percent.

Simpson has been among the top five most hated individuals since the company began polling for the weekly rankings more than five years ago.

“A lot of the folks on this list are people who are constantly in the news and have nonredeeming qualities,” Mary Ann Farrell, Senior Vice President of Research at E-Poll told The Post.

Anthony should remain on the list for “the foreseeable future,” she said.

That’s because people seem to reserve the most vitriol for notorious mothers, like Octomom and Anthony, Farrell said.

Just behind Anthony in the “total dislike” category was former “Hills” reality-TV star Spencer Pratt.

He was followed by Suleman, Simpson and former “Jon & Kate Plus Eight” star, Jon Gosselin.

Paris Hilton and shock jock Howard Stern were also on the Top 10 list.

“They don’t have any TV shows or movies, but what they do have is a constant trickling out of negative press, a constant drip,” Farrell said.
