Scientists have scored a victory in the war against leukemia — turning patients’ own blood cells into tiny assassins that hunt down and wipe out the cancer.
The miracle cure has been given to only three patients so far, but the results were amazing — two are cancer-free about a year after treatment and the third made great progress.
