Tina Fey gives birth to second daughter

Tina Fey has given birth to her second child, People magazine reported Friday, citing confirmation from a representative of the “30 Rock” star and creator.

Fey, 41, and her composer husband Jeffrey Richmond, 51, welcomed Penelope Athena on Wednesday, the report said. The couple already have a daughter, five-year-old Alice.

Fey, who earlier described her second pregnancy as “easy,” had told Ellen DeGeneres that she would wait until the birth to find out the sex of her second child.

The multiple award-winner first revealed her pregnancy in April during a taping of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” in Chicago.

Fey has received seven Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, four Screen Actors Guild Awards, and four Writers Guild of America Awards.

She made her film debut as writer and star of teen comedy “Mean Girls” and has since starred in movies “Date Night” and “Baby Mama.”

She got her break with Chicago improv company The Second City and was a writer and performer on “Saturday Night Live” for nine seasons.
