Guy Fieri’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” is back on the road after the network ended its food fight with a knock-out.
While The Food Network and the show’s creator and producer David Page hammer out the final details of a legal settlement, the cable network has turned over the reins of “DDD” to a new producer.
The future of the show was looking bleak after a legal battle broke out between Page and Food Network over control of the show.
But now, with a settlement at hand, “DDD” will return to the air Sept. 12, the network said yesterday.
Last week, Food Network sued Page’s production company — claiming he’d fostered an abusive work environment — in retaliation for the production company’s breach-of-contract lawsuit against the network last May.
“The lawsuit has been resolved,” Page told The Post.
“We had a great time doing 140-plus episodes of ‘Diner,’ ” he said.
The new producers have worked for Food Network before, most recently with beauty Giada De Laurentiis.
“Diners,” one of the network’s most popular shows, profiles hidden-gem roadhouses and greasy spoons all across the US.
