Books: “Hot in Cleveland” co-star Valerie Bertinelli has inked a deal to write a cookbook called “One Dish at a Time,” a play on her hit ’70s series, “One Day at a Time.”

“One Dish at a Time,” according to a release from publisher Rodale Books, will include recipes from Bertinelli’s “trusted family favorites” as well as healthy dishes she’s used to help her slim down (which paid off, in 2007, when she lost a boatload of weight and became the spokeswoman for Jenny Craig — then spun that off into a bestseller, “Losing It”).

“One Dish at a Time” is targeted for a fall 2012 publication date.

“Hot in Cleveland,” which ends it second season Aug. 31, returns for Season 3 in November.

La La Anthony isn’t the only one in the family appearing on series TV.

The wife of Knicks star Carmelo Anthony kicked off her VH1 series, “La La’s Full Court Life,” last night — and now comes word that Carmelo will cameo on an upcoming episode of “Law & Order: SVU,” scheduled to air Sept. 28 (a week after the show’s season premiere).

Anthony and Miami Heat star Chris Bosh will play themselves in the episode, “Personal Fouls,” which revolves around a youth basketball coach (“Lombardi” and “Life Goes On” star Dan Lauria) who’s accused of being a sexual predator. Mehcad Brooks (“True Blood”) also guest stars as Prince Miller, one of the coach’s prodigies — with rapper/actor Heavy D playing Miller’s cousin/business manager.

Both Anthony and Bosh will be featured in the episode’s opening and closing scenes.

Last, but not least:

* Linda Dano unveils her revamped Web site Sept. 6; she’s working with her former “All My Children” co-stars Jill Larson and Julia Barr on a Web series called “The Vindicated,” about three women at a point in their lives without male companionship (for different reasons) . . . Giancarlo Esposito’s Gus Fring in “Breaking Bad” reminds me of Peter Sellers’ Clare Quilty in the 1962 movie “Lolita” — he’s only onscreen intermittently, but he’s mesmerizing . . . HBO’s “Game of Thrones” has added Croatia and Iceland to its shooting schedule for next season. Production of the series is based in Northern Ireland (Belfast) . . . The sixth season of “Criminal Minds” is out on DVD Sept. 6; “Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop,” documenting O’Brien’s spring 2010 comedy tour following his ouster from the “Tonight Show,” is out on DVD/Blu-ray Sept. 13.
