Cops found filthy pictures of a Maryland woman in the camera of a male pal being held in connection with her disappearance in Aruba, according to a report yesterday.
Police are still trying to determine when the pictures — described as “beyond pornographic” — were taken of 35-year-old stunner Robyn Gardner by travel partner Gary Giordano, 50, People magazine said.
Gardner, last seen on Aug. 2, and Giordano met a year ago online and traveled together to Aruba after she lost her dental-office job, said the woman’s roommate, Christina Jones.
Gardner had a boyfriend when she left for Aruba, and Jones insisted her roommate was only a platonic pal of Giordano.
Authorities have reportedly found that Giordano took out a $1.5 million accidental-death insurance policy on Gardner before their journey.
The disturbing missing-persons case has drawn comparisons to the disappearance of Alabaman Natalee Holloway, 18, who vanished in Aruba in 2005.
Holloway’s suspected killer, Joran van der Sloot, is in jail in Peru, awaiting trial for the murder of a college co-ed in Lima.
