‘Talent’ judges slow on fire mishap

The judges of “America’s Got Talent” say the show was slow coming to the rescue of a tumbler who wiped out and landed inches away from a metal ring of flames.

“He was lying there, and I didn’t see anybody with a fire extinguisher,” judge Howie Mandel told The Post after the live show Tuesday.

“In no way do I ever want to see someone get hurt. It was just scary!”

The mishap occurred midway through a gymnastics routine when a member of the squad Gymkana caught his foot on the flaming ring, causing teammate Warren Hull to take a nasty spill.

“We have got to be more on our toes,” judge Sharon Osbourne said. “It took too long” to help him.

“The performers were wearing suits treated with a flame-retardant spray, and no injuries ensued,” a show spokesman told The Post.
