Elderly man killed in B’klyn hit-run

An elderly man was killed in a horrific hit-and-run accident this evening in Brooklyn, police said.

Jean Jeanniot, 71, was crossing the intersection of Flatbush Avenue and East 26th Street when a car smashed into him around 6:10 p.m., authorities said.

Another car then hit and dragged Jeanniot, but that driver stayed on the scene, cops said.

EMS rushed Jeanniot to Kings County Hospital, where he died.

“Someone hit him one way, then another guy drove over him and he was dragged out,” said Robert Sapp, 52, of nearby Lindell’s Beauty and Barber Supplies.

“It’s a horrible intersection, it’s very dangerous.”

No arrests have been made.
