Teacher files suit against DOE over ‘ethnic harassment’

Top brass at a Brooklyn high school discriminated against Arab-American students to the point that they left in droves, according to a federal lawsuit.

Teacher Mosad Almontaser claims Principal Fred Walsh and Assistant Principal Judith Willoughby harassed him and Arab-American students at the School for International Studies because of their ethnic background.

The Brooklyn federal-court lawsuit against the Department of Education and the principals claims that administrators “condoned” a teacher who said she didn’t want Arabs in her computer class because they would “learn how to make bombs,” papers state.

The teacher claims brass didn’t like his Yemeni background and gave him poor reviews to force his ouster, according to the suit.
