Aqueduct employees busted after using ID numbers to create phony comp cards and trade them with casino gamblers

A pair of bumbling Aqueduct Racino employees were busted this week after they used their own employee identification numbers to create phony comp cards and trade them with select casino gamblers in exchange for a portion of their winnings.

Moises Jones, 29 , of the Bronx , and Rolanda Roberts, 33 , of Brooklyn , allegedly created and distributed almost 200 of the fake complimentary cards worth about $100 each before casino authorities caught on to the scheme and called the cops.

Jones said he made the fraudulent cards for about a month and collected approximately $2,000 in profit, according to court documents.

The casino player cards are normally authorized and issued by Racino operator Rasor World Casino to high rolling players.

Also arrested were, Sonny Vlado, 40 and Richard Ulado, 45 both of Brooklyn for using seven different fake player cards at the casino made by Jones and Roberts.

Roberts and Jones were charged with grand larceny and other charges and face up to seven years in prison. Vlado and Ulado were charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument and other charges and also face up to seven years in prison.
