Not that Deron Williams needed any added incentive against Jeremy Lin and the Knicks on Monday. But he received some anyway from good friend Dwight Howard of Orlando.
Howard issued Williams a challenge when the two spoke on Monday morning, according to the Magic’s team website. Howard recalling that “Linsanity” began against the Nets, raised the bar for Williams.
“I just told him to go out there and show me something,” Howard told the website before the Magic’s 108-91 win over the Nets yesterday. “I guess he did.”
