Cops are looking for a man and woman in connection with a Morningside Heights pickpocketing case.

The mark was walking north on Broadway at West 112th Street at 4:35 p.m. last Monday when his wallet was lifted from behind by a man who passed it to a female accomplice before the two slinked off, cops said.

A man with a history of mental illness and drug abuse apparently fell onto the tracks and was fatally struck by a train at an Upper West Side subway station early yesterday, authorities said.

Michael Silverman, 63, of Gramercy, was hit by a downtown No. 2 at the 72nd Street and Broadway stop at about 2:35 a.m., cops said. He died at St. Luke’s Hospital.

A 48-year-old East Williamsburg woman was knocked to the ground by a mugger who swiped her iPhone 4, cops said.

The hoodlum tried to grab the pricey Apple smartphone at Humboldt Street and Montrose Avenue at 11:10 p.m. on March 5, police said.

When the woman tried to hold on to it, he screamed, “Bitch, let the phone go!” and pushed her to the ground before fleeing with the phone.

An NYPD school-safety agent is facing marijuana-possession charges.

Barbara Smith, 45, was off duty when she was busted at about 1 p.m. Saturday at Nostrand Avenue and Saint Marks Place in Crown Heights.

Two men in their 20s and an 18-year-old beat a man so savagely that they left him with bleeding on the brain, authorities said.

Luis Morales, 26, Edwin Ortega, 24, and teenager Roberto Perez repeatedly punched and kicked the man in the head just before 3 a.m. last Monday on Webster Avenue near East 176th Street in Mount Hope, court papers state.

When responding officers collared the trio, Morales told them, “He spit in my face. That is why we were fighting.”

According to the court papers, Perez said the argument began after his cousin Ortega performed at a nearby nightclub.

Guess she just got tired of waiting. Michelle Brooks, 33, not only stalked her ex, according to court papers, but also allegedly called him four times on his cellphone between 8 p.m. on Feb. 28 and 3 a.m. on Feb. 29 and at one point warned, “You better not come out the building because I got something for you!”

In another call, she yelled, “I’m gonna get some people to f–k you up!” court records say.

But when her former flame took her at her word and stayed indoors, Brooks, on March 14, broke into his apartment in the Monroe Houses, on Story Avenue in Soundview, and smacked him around, the papers say.

She was charged with aggravated harassment, criminal trespass and misdemeanor assault.

A woman turned into the cheerleader from hell as her grown daughter pummeled a woman in front of a Melrose housing project, authorities said.

“Yeah! Hit her! Kick her ass! Beat her the f–k up!” Zaida Mendez, 46, yelled from just five feet away as her daughter, Jessica Ortiz, 23, attacked the 28-year-old victim on Courtlandt Avenue, outside the Jackson Houses, at about 1 p.m. on March 12, a complaint states.

Ortiz angrily hurled a bottle at the woman’s head before punching her and kicking her repeatedly, cops said.

Ortiz was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault.

And her mom was locked up for violating a court order to stay away from the victim.

A coldblooded killer gunned down a man in Soundview yesterday, police said.

The shooter blasted the 24-year-old victim in the face at 8:50 p.m. in the 14th-floor stairwell of a building in the Monroe Houses on Story Avenue.
