Mike Woodson’s playbook isn’t the only thing Amar’e Stoudemire is studying these days.
Stoudemire brushed up on his Jewish history by taking a visit to the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit at Discovery Times Square on Thursday night.
Stoudemire, who has Hebrew roots on his mother’s side of the family, visited Israel two summers ago and also has a Star of David tattooed on his arm.
“This is going to be a great trip,” Stoudemire wrote on his Twitter feed when he originally made the trip. “The holy land. Learn about it.”
The Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit runs until April 15.
