Jets looking at Patriots RB Green-Ellis

Could the Jets be looking to take a free agent from Bill Belichick?

The Jets have expressed interest in Patriots free agent running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis, according to a source. The interest is preliminary at the moment and nothing is imminent. The two sides have yet to schedule a meeting.

Green-Ellis could be an interesting target for the Jets. He has rushed for 2,064 yards in the first four years of his career while splitting duty in New England, and has never fumbled in 510 career rushing attempts.
