Woman leaps to her death from luxury building

A woman jumped to her death Sunday night from her luxury apartment building on the Upper East Side, police said.

The woman, whose name was withheld pending notification of her family, plunged from a window at The Pavilion, at 500 E. 77th St. near York Avenue, at about 11 p.m.

It’s believed that she lived on the 11th floor, according to a source.

She fell on a landing in the rear of the 34-story building, according to witnesses.

One of the witnesses said that the woman had moved into the tony apartment building in May.
