Devastated Qns. mom calls for subway brawler to come forward

A Queens mother devastated by the loss of her only son is begging the man whose Friday-night subway brawl resulted in her child’s death to come forward.

“Whoever it is out there, whoever did it — please, turn yourself in,” a weeping Zena Basin, of Howard Beach, said yesterday.

Her son, Joshua, 20, died when he was pinned by an oncoming L train after a fight with a random, rowdy straphanger sent both men sprawling onto the tracks.

The attacker pulled himself onto the platform in time and fled.

Basin was hit by the train as he tried to reach the platform. The La Guardia Community College psychology major was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital.

Police are looking for the brawler, who is believed to be in his 30s, about 6 feet tall with brown hair and was last seen wearing a fleece jacket and sneakers.
