A mourner paying his respects to a loved one at a Queens cemetery this morning got a grisly surprise when he discovered a half-naked dead man lying nearby, police sources said.
Police received a 911 call at 9:58 a.m. about an unconscious male in Calvary Cemetery. When officers arrived, they found a dead, white 42-year-old man lying near a headstone with his pants down around his ankles, the sources said.
The body was identified this afternoon as Robert Zaretz, of 50th Avenue in Queens.
The body had no visible signs of trauma, and cops aren’t sure yet whether there is any criminality. Police are investigating, and the city medical examiner will determine cause of death.
