Mayor Bloomberg was honored last night at the 55th Annual New York Emmy’s, joking that his long list of cameo appearances were finally being recognized.
“Which of my performances in the past year did you all love the most?” Hizzoner asked during an introductory video for the gala.
“Was it the way I told Larry David to get out of town on ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm?’ Or was I getting my Emmy for best choreography: You know, my televised Times Square dance with Lady GaGa?” Bloomberg quipped at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square.
Bloomberg was given the Governor’s Award for his administration’s support of the TV industry in the Big Apple.
