They might have a Hollywood ending after all.

The nasty divorce battle between Manhattan movie mogul Bob Weinstein and his wife appears to be drawing to a quick and relatively friendly close — less than a week after he and her family staged an intervention to help her beat her alleged drinking problem.

Mere days after Annie Weinstein filed for divorce and an order of protection from her hubby — an executive producer of “The King’s Speech,” the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, and “Pulp Fiction” — the two sides look to be on the verge of working out an amicable deal.

Lawyers for the couple said they expected to issue a joint statement on the status of the case imminently.

The news of the announcement came after attorneys for the pair spent almost four hours huddled in talks with Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Ellen Gesmer yesterday.

The judge did not sign the proposed order of protection, but appeared to make headway with the lawyers on their clients’ differences.

The Weinsteins themselves spent most of the day sitting in the judge’s courtroom, with Bob on one side of the room and Annie on the other. They did not acknowledge each other, but spent about half an hour in with the judge and their lawyers at the end of the day.

The statuesque Annie had a smile on her face as she exited with her lawyers.

The curtain went up on the bitter dispute between the pair on Friday, when Annie filed for divorce and asked for an order of protection to keep safe from “bodily harm.”

Bob answered by saying that his wife of 12 years needed help to treat a problem with alcohol.

Sources said that drama played out the day after Bob, the brother and business partner of temperamental tycoon Harvey Weinstein, and his wife’s family staged the intervention.

“Her drinking problem is so bad that Annie’s sister and her daughter tried to force her to seek help,” a knowledgeable source said.

The confrontation was held at an undisclosed location and led by Don Sloane, a longtime certified interventionist, who denied that there was any kind of abuse.

“The alleged incident consisted of an intervention by family members including myself, Annie Weinstein’s sister and her brother in-law, Bob Weinstein’s daughter, Sara, and additional health professionals in an attempt to convince Bob’s wife, Annie, to seek help for her drinking addiction,” Sloane said.

Sources said Harvey Weinstein was not at the showdown.

The pair had met while “she was a temp at a Miramax,” the Weinstein brothers’ former movie studio, a source said.

“They met in the elevator and story is that she didn’t know who he was,” the source said.

She left the company after they started dating.

They tied the knot in 2000 at a ceremony that included the likes of directors Quentin Tarantino and Wes Craven.

“She wasn’t a beauty queen, but after they married she lost a lot of weight and got thin and a lot more attractive,” the source said.

The pair lived in a palatial apartment at The Beresford on Central Park West that they bought for $25 million in cash. They later “downsized” to a $15 million townhouse on the Upper West Side.

A knowledgeable source said the couple did have a prenuptial agreement, and it’s unclear how much of Weinstein’s film fortune she stands to snag in the split.
