UES homes & businesses hit by well-dressed burglar

A well-dressed burglar has hit several homes and businesses between on the Upper East Side, authorities said.

The crook first struck a second-floor apartment on East 64th Street near Lexington Avenue sometime between Feb. 6 and Feb. 11, grabbing several Rolex and Cartier watches, sources said.

He then ransacked an apartment on East 62nd Street near Madison Avenue between Feb. 19 and Feb. 27, but didn’t take anything, cops said.

The thief also broke into a penthouse apartment, through a living room window on East 63rd Street near 5th Avenue, and grabbed jewelry and a laptop computer from his victims, cops added.

He also used a roof-access door to break into the Antonio Tincati clothing store on East 63rd Street between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. Feb. 24, where he stole $200, sources said.

In his most recent heist, he snuck through a skylight into an apartment on East 60th Street near Second Avenue on Feb. 24.

Once inside, he broke into the Carlos De La Puente Antiques store, where he was caught on surveillance camera. He snatched a camera, a leather bag and jewelry from the shop before fleeing, authorities said.

Cops say the suspect sported a dark overcoat, suit, and gloves during the most recent burglary. He is between 25 and 30 years old, has a large build, and is approximately six foot one, weighing about 180 pounds.
