PARIS — An amateur weapons collector is believed to have blown himself up inside a Paris law office when he opened a postal package containing a batch of grenades and one exploded.
Jerome Muriaux, a real estate and business lawyer, was inspecting the explosive device when it suddenly went off, according to French daily Le Figaro.
Several other people were wounded, though none badly.
Police are investigating but it’s believed Friday’s blast is being treated as a bizarre accident, the newspaper added.
