Investigators don’t believe there was any criminality in the mysterious death of a Queens welder outside a Midtown club early Saturday, law-enforcement sources said.

Michael Lin, 27, fell down a flight of stairs at District 36, on West 36th Street near Fifth Avenue, police believe.

Waitresses smoking outside on a 3 a.m. break noticed that he was bleeding profusely from the mouth. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Nothing suggests that club workers had moved him outside, sources said.

The medical examiner is doing toxicology tests to determine the cause of death.

Lin’s friends say he was partying the night of his death to get over a recent breakup with his longtime girlfriend.
