The biggest week of the season produced some interesting results.

The most surprising might have been Francis Lewis scoring four runs in the seventh to stun James Madison. Tottenville was the big winner of the week, beating Madison, McKee/Staten Island and Construction – the latter two in routs. Bryant returns to the rankings after a run-rule win over Cardozo.

All that and plenty more lies below:

1. Tottenville (8-0) (Last week: 1)

We called last week Hell Week for Tottenville, but the Pirates just laughed it off. They beat James Madison, McKee/Staten Island Tech and Construction – all top-six teams – by a combined score of 27-2. Cheryl Lopez was brilliant and so were the Tots bats during the stretch.

Next: No. 2 Susan Wagner (April 23, 4 p.m. @ Great Kills LL)

2. Susan Wagner (8-0) (3)

The Falcons took care of business last week against DeWitt Clinton, Petrides and Environmental Studies for a perfect week. Wagner is hot right now heading into Monday’s game with Tottenville. But like every year when these teams play, the rain will likely force a postponement.

Next: No. 1 Tottenville (April 23, 4 p.m. @ Great Kills LL)

3. Construction (6-1) (2)

Yes, Tottenville is the city’s signature team, winner of seven of the last eight PSAL titles and Construction is in just its fifth varsity season. But a 15-2 loss to the Pirates on Friday was disappointing. One game won’t make or break the Ozone Park school’s year though.

Next: Long Island City (April 23, 4 p.m. @ Smokey Oval Park)

4. McKee/S.I. Tech (7-2) (5)

Rosalie Gerbino’s two-run triple in the sixth broke the game open and Blayse Halvorsen pitched well in a 7-5 victory over Clinton on Saturday. The Seagulls remain with just two losses – to our No. 1 and 2 teams. Jess Ragucci’s young squad might actually be ahead of schedule.

Next: CSI/McCown (April 23, 4 p.m.)

5. Francis Lewis (7-2) (6)

The Patriots salvaged what would have been a very disappointing week by scratching out four runs to stun Madison in the seventh inning Thursday in a 7-6 win. A grit that hasn’t been seen yet this year came out in that game, coach Bryan Brown said. That could be a turning point.

Next: Jamaica (April 23, 4 p.m.)

6. James Madison (6-2) (4)

After a solid showing against Tottenville in a 3-0 loss Monday, Madison potentially hurt its playoff seed by coughing up a three-run lead in the seventh inning Thursday against Francis Lewis. The biggest issue has been defense. That was never a problem for past teams.

Next: @ Fort Hamilton (April 23, 4 p.m.)

7. Bayside (8-1) (8)

The Commodores took care of business last week in crossover games with Newtown and InTech Academy and have now won eight straight games since falling to Cardozo in their league opener. The rival Judges are on the schedule Monday. It could be Bayside’s chance for revenge.

Next: @ Cardozo (April 23, 4:30 p.m.)

8. Telecom (7-1) (9)

In a rematch of last year’s PSAL Class B final, Telecom squeaked past American Studies @ Lehman College, 3-1, on Monday. The Yellow Jackets have been one of the best stories of the young season. They have made it look easy moving up to the ‘A’ league.

Next: Grand Street Campus (April 23, 4 p.m.)

9. Clinton (6-3) (10)

With a few breaks, Clinton might have been 2-0 against Staten Island powers this week. Maguette Fofana struggled with her control, but also showed impressive stuff in losses to Wagner and McKee/Staten Island Tech. The Governors will be a tough out in the playoffs.

Next: Bronx Science (April 23, 4 p.m. @ Harris Park)

10. Bryant (6-1) (NR)

If Bryant has proven anything this season, it’s that it can flatout hit the ball. The Owls have scored double digits the last five games, including Friday’s impressive 12-2, run-rule win over Cardozo. Juniors Sarah Temkin and Ashley Torres Littwin have been mashing.

Next: Grover Cleveland (April 23, 4 p.m.)

New: Bryant (6-1)

Dropped out: Cardozo (7-2)

On the bubble: Cardozo (7-2), Stuyvesant (7-1), George Washington (6-2), Petrides (5-4) and Forest Hills (5-2)
