Driver busted after holding ex-girlfriend captive on Bronx bus

An enraged Bronx bus driver was busted after holding his ex-girlfriend captive on an express MTA bus for nearly an hour, police sources said.

The bizarre incident unfolded around 8 p.m. yesterday after the driver’s troubled former gal pal boarded the BXM9 bus, which had one other passenger aboard, to talk to him, sources said. But the driver, Michael Luca, 29, and the woman started fighting, sources said.

Police officers responded to 911 call for an emotionally disturbed woman on St. Vincent Avenue after the victim’s worried parents called cops.

Once cops arrived to the scene, Luca oddly rebuffed police orders to let the woman off the bus, sources said.

Police eventually freed the victim and arrested Luca at 8:49 p.m.

Luca was charged with unlawful imprisonment and resisting arrest, cops said.

The woman was taken to Jacobi Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
