Police are looking for the burglar (pictured above) who slinked into the basement of a University Heights business and swiped a bag of cash.

Manhattan

Cops are on the lookout for Cornell Neilly (pictured) in connection with the midday robbery of a Midtown bank.

The 21-year-old entered the Sovereign branch at 864 Eighth Ave. at about 12:40 p.m. on April 11, passed a note to a teller and waltzed out with $2,320.

A man who allegedly went on a spending spree at two Midtown drugstores with stolen credit cards claims he simply found them at Mickey D’s, authorities said.

Jerry Stewart-Holmes, 22, used five such cards Friday at the Duane Reade at 358 Fifth Ave. and its sister store at West 33rd Street and Broadway, according to court papers.

He was arrested at 11:45 a.m. that same day and charged with possession of stolen property.

“I found these in McDonald’s and used them,” he said, according to court records, before adding, “I should not have done it.”

Staten Island

The guy in the picture assaulted and robbed a livery driver in New Springville, police said.

He allegedly stopped the cab at Shepard and Rockland avenues at about 5:50 a.m. Sunday, asked the 60-year-old cabby to change a $20 bill, then slugged him, grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.

Brooklyn

A bat-wielding punk unhappy with repairs to his car attacked two mechanics in their shop — across the street from a Canarsie police station, cops said.

Raheem Yusuf, 29, went to the garage on Rockaway Avenue and East 98th Street at about 3:20 p.m. Sunday, police said.

He allegedly punched one mechanic in the face, then fetched the bat from his car and snarled, “I’ll crack your head open!”

When the man’s co-worker intervened, Yasuf threatened to “f— him up,” the cops said.

One mechanic sprinted to the station house, and Yusuf was arrested and charged with assault, menacing and weapon possession.

The Bronx

Police are looking for the burglar (pictured) who slinked into the basement of a University Heights business and swiped a bag of cash.

He made off with an undisclosed amount of money after gaining entry to the University Avenue store near West 176th Street at about 6 p.m. on April 16, police said.

An MTA bus driver was busted after allegedly holding his ex-girlfriend captive for nearly an hour on an express bus in Throggs Neck, cops said.

The trouble began just before 8 p.m. Sunday when Michael Luca’s former gal pal boarded his BXM9 bus.

There was another passenger aboard, but Luca, 29, and the unidentified woman ignored him and immediately set upon each other.

Police arrived after the woman’s worried parents dialed 911, cops said. Luca allegedly rebuffed NYPD orders to let her go, but officers eventually freed her and collared him on charges of unlawful imprisonment and resisting arrest.

The woman, meanwhile, was taken to Jacobi Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, the cops said.

Queens

A man is fighting for his life after a hit-and-run driver smashed into him on a Woodhaven street last night, cops said.

The 50-year-old pedestrian was struck by a 2003 Infiniti as he crossed Woodhaven Boulevard near Jamaica Avenue at about 7 p.m. He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

The driver, Ian Glasgow, 59, was arrested a few blocks away on 91st Avenue, cops said. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with a serious injury.

An 18-year-old who had been arrested 13 times in three years was gunned down yesterday outside his Jamaica home.

Raborn Chesson was shot in the torso and leg in front of 147-47 Ferndale St. at 7:07 a.m., police said.

He was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital.
