Estranged wife of Deion Sanders arrested after allegedly attacking him

DALLAS — Hall of Famer Deion Sanders’ ugly divorce got a whole lot uglier Monday when his estranged wife Pilar Sanders was arrested for domestic violence after she allegedly “jumped” him in his suburban Dallas home.

The NFL great had detailed the entire saga to his Twitter followers, even posting a picture of himself filing the police report.

“Pray for me and my kids now! They just witnessed their mother and a friend jump me in my room. She’s going to jail n I’m pressing charges!” Sanders wrote.

“I’m sad my boys witnessed this mess but I warned the police department here that she was gone try n harm me and my boys. This is on my mama!”

Pilar Sanders was taken to the hospital after claiming she needed medical attention, according to TMZ.

She was later booked for “assault family violence.”

Deion Sanders claims he was in his bedroom when she and a friend came in and started “kicking, biting and scratching” him. He said he defended himself until he was able to call police.

The 44-year-old made the divorce announcement Dec. 17 in a statement to TMZ, which Pilar Sanders later claimed was the first she knew of the split.

The pair were married in 1999 and have three children.

It was the second marriage for Deion Sanders, who won the Super Bowl with the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys. He was previously married to Carolyn Chambers, and they have two children together.
