Tan Mom lashes out, calls critics ‘jealous, fat and ugly’

She isn’t a bad mother — it’s people who are just “jealous, fat and ugly,” that are out to get her.

Tanorexic New Jersey mom Patricia Krentcil again denied bringing her five-year-old daughter into a tanning booth today, saying that the two “only go shopping together” and that she is a good mother.

“I would never, ever put my daughter in a tanning booth,” Krentcil said in the video which was posted on TMZ.com. “We go out shopping, that’s what we do. I don’t want to hear any more about this.”

Krentcil then goes on the offensive, calling out her critics who have labeled her a bad mom.

“Any mother who makes an accusation about me is not a mother because I’m a great mother — I would never do that to my child,” Krentcil rants. “There’s somebody out there for my whole life that doesn’t like me because they are jealous, fat and they’re ugly.”

Krentcil was charged with felony child endangerment yesterday after allegedly bringing her daughter into a tanning booth at City Tropic Tanning salon in Nutley, NJ. She was released on $25,000 bail.

A school nurse first noticed a sunburn on five-year-old Anna Krentcil at school and the kindergartner said that she goes “tanning with my mommy.”

Krentcil owns a $99 monthly pass to City Tropic Tanning, but she will no longer be welcome in the salon, according to the store’s owner, who only identified himself as Anthony.

“I don’t want her here anymore and deal with this nonsense,” Anthony said before denying that little Anna had ever set foot in one of his tanning machines.

““The girl did not go in the booth,” Anthony said. “The girl had sunburn on her arms from April 17; it was 90 degrees out. She’s a 5-year-old kid, she’d burn to death if she went into one of those booths.”
