A 25-year-old woman was found dead after firefighters extinguished the flames in a Bushwick third-floor apartment on Furman Avenue, near Bushwick Avenue, shortly before 4:40 a.m., authorities said. Fire marshals say the blaze is suspicious, but do not know what sparked it.

An unidentified man was also discovered burnt to death in a rubbish fire at Woodhaven’s Forest Park, near Park Lane South, shortly before 6 a.m., according to an FDNY spokesperson. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances of his death were not immediately clear, cops said.
