LAS VEGAS — A former nanny for Aussie movie hunk Hugh Jackman celebrated her 27th birthday in style Sunday night, making the top 16 at the Miss USA pageant in Las Vegas.
Stunning brunette Erika Powell, also known as Miss South Carolina, is a vocal performance graduate from Furman University and was previously selected as a top-25 global semifinalist in the Avon Voices Talent Search.
Powell took out the Miss South Carolina crown last November.
Powell’s biography on her website says she was the personal assistant and nanny for Jackman and his family between January and June 2009.
Jackman is married to Australian actress Deborra-Lee Furness and they have two adopted children, 12-year-old Oscar and six-year-old Ava.
