Nets don’t move up in lottery, lose pick to Blazers

The Nets were left with the sixth pick in the NBA Draft after failing to improve their standing in Wednesday night’s Draft Lottery.

Because the Nets didn’t move into the top three, the Nets pick will go to Portland to complete the Gerald Wallace trade from March’a trade deadline.

The New Orleans Hornets won the lottery, jumping from fourth to first and earning the right to draft Kentucky star Anthony Davis.

The Charlotte Bobcats, who finished the season 7-59 — the worst winning percentage in league history — fell from first to second, while the Washington Wizards fell from second to third.
