WASHINGTON — The Senate Banking Committee delayed until June 13 a hearing with J.P. Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, a committee spokesman said Thursday.
Dimon, who plans to testify about his company’s $2 billion-plus trading loss, could not make an originally planned June 7 date because he will be traveling abroad, according to a Senate aide.
The committee announced last week that it invited Dimon to testify June 7. The company said at the time that Dimon would cooperate but did not commit to the date.
J.P. Morgan confirmed that Dimon will appear at the June 13 hearing.
