O’s latest NYC cash dash

WASHINGTON — President Obama yesterday sprinted through six fund-raising events in a warm- up for his shindig at Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s Manhattan town house tomorrow.

The fund-raising dinner, following a planned visit by Obama to Ground Zero, will be a star-studded event with a guest list that includes Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

But a couple of lucky supporters who give at least $3 online to the Obama campaign will win tickets in a sweepstakes.

Obama got ready with some fast-paced fund-raising in Baltimore and Philadelphia, hauling in at least $3.6 million yesterday. Tickets to one Baltimore reception cost $50,000.

The fund-raising spree follows a disappointing May in which presumptive Republican challenger Mitt Romney outpaced Team Obama in the money race by $17 million.
